Customers can now request account balance via text message

Text message balance update requested by Lloyds TSB customer

Yesterday Lloyds TSB announced the introduction of a Balance on Demand service. Lloyds TSB customers can now request a text message balance update by texting ‘BAL’ followed by last four digits of their account number. The service is available to all Lloyds TSB customers registered for their Mobile Banking pack which comes at a cost of £2.50 per month and includes a wide range of text alerts as well as the Monilink provided Mobile Banking application.
